As a Security Guard in San Antonio, TX, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support shoppers and team members while contributing to a caring, people-first culture built on agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to shoppers, employees, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter to help deter theft, trespassing, and other unauthorized activity.
- Observe and report suspicious behavior, hazards, policy violations, and security-related incidents using established reporting procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services when appropriate.
- Support access control and loss prevention efforts by monitoring high-traffic areas and assisting with store opening and/or closing procedures as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
