We are seeking an experienced Security Services Director to provide strategic and operational leadership for security services across our diverse ministry environments, including church, K-12 school, residential, retreat, administrative, and special-event settings.
This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who can see the big picture and ensure the details are carried out in the field. The Director will establish security strategy and standards, develop people, strengthen emergency preparedness, and ensure identified risks and approved improvements move from recommendation to implementation. This leader will build a culture of vigilance, professionalism, accountability, preparedness, hospitality, and Christ-centered service.

What You’ll DoAs our Security Services Director, you will:
- Lead a comprehensive, multi‑site security program that protects employees, students, ministry leaders, volunteers, guests, facilities, and organizational assets
- Develop security strategies, operating standards, and long‑range priorities, turning assessments, incident findings, audits, and leadership direction into actionable plans with clear ownership and follow‑through
- Lead daily security operations through supervisors, coordinators, dispatch personnel, and designated security leaders, ensuring reliable staffing, post coverage, access control, patrol, visitor management, and incident response
- Lead emergency preparedness and crisis management across ministry locations, including emergency plans, incident command, drills, exercises, communications, after‑action reviews, and coordination with public safety agencies
- Provide leadership for school safety and security, including emergency operations, access and visitor management, dismissal procedures, family reunification, threat assessment, and staff preparedness
- Plan and oversee security operations for worship services, conferences, athletic events, graduations, concerts, and other large ministry gatherings
- Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop security personnel while establishing clear expectations for readiness, accountability, and field performance
- Strengthen security operations through training, field inspections, incident reviews, performance measures, and corrective‑action tracking, ensuring identified gaps are addressed and improvements are carried through to completion
- Oversee security technology, infrastructure, budgets, and long‑range investments in partnership with Facilities, Information Technology, executive leadership, and other key stakeholders
- Provide executive leadership with clear, actionable reporting on security risks, staffing, incidents, readiness, costs, performance, and strategic priorities
