** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a water utility location.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor access to restricted utility areas, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations to appropriate personnel.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and emergency protocols.

+ Prepare accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrol activities, and interactions, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + A Texas Level III Armed Certification is required.

+ An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
