Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Access Control Point in San Antonio, TX
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and respond to security-related concerns at a dynamic location. Your visible presence, professional communication, and customer-focused service will help deter incidents while supporting a welcoming environment. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out site‑specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials, and control entry and exit in accordance with established site requirements.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access‑related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
- Maintain accurate access‑related logs, visitor records, and incident documentation as required by site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, the business, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
