- Assist pipe fitters with installation, assembly, and maintenance of piping systems
- Load, unload, and stage materials, tools, and equipment
- Measure, cut, thread, groove, and prep pipe under supervision
- Support layout and installation of piping systems for HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Clean work areas and maintain job site organization
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely
- Follow all job site safety rules and company policies
- Perform other general labor duties as assigned
- Previous construction or mechanical trade experience preferred, not required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor throughout the workday
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced pipe fitters
- Basic knowledge of hand tools a plus
- Reliable transportation to job site
- OSHA 10 or willingness to obtain
- Trade school coursework or enrollment in an apprenticeship program
- Experience on commercial construction sites
- Familiarity with steel, copper, PVC, or threaded piping
- Active commercial construction sites
- Standing, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and lifting required
- PPE required (hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toe boots)
- Must be able to pass a background and drug test
