Access Control Technician – Security Systems | San Antonio, Texas

• Install, troubleshoot, service, and program/commission security and access control devices
• Install door hardware including mag locks, electric strikes, door contacts, and request-to-exit devices
• Install, service, and troubleshoot CCTV and surveillance camera systems
• Read and interpret access control and CCTV blueprints, schematics, and system layouts
• Work safely on ladders and lifts while following all site safety requirements
• Support additional low voltage systems as needed at commercial and industrial sites including schools, hospitals, offices, warehouses, and manufacturing facilities

• 2+ years of commercial installation experience in access control and CCTV systems
• Working knowledge of telecom and data networks
• Programming experience with access control and CCTV systems is a plus
• Manufacturer certifications, BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications are a plus
• Must have basic hand tools and standard PPE including hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, and steel-toe boots
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to job sites throughout the San Antonio area as needed
