Experienced Floor Technician(Janitorial)

The schedule for this position is Thurs-Mon 1pm-9:30pm

Days off are Tues & Wed.

This Position is on a Military Installation; the below criteria is a MUST!

MUST HAVE VALID DRIVERS LICENSE or .

MUST HAVE A BIRTH CERTIFICATE or PASSPORT

MUST HAVE A CLEAN BACKGROUND (NO FELONIES/NO MISDEMEANOR w/in Past 10 Years)

• Perform all assigned tasks in a professional and timely manner.
• Must be able to strip/wax VCT tiles (attention to detail is critical)
• Must know how to burnish floors with a High Speed
• Must be able to extract and bonnet carpets
• Utilize the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to policy and procedure.
• May also be needed to support our janitorial program (other duties as assigned)
• Ability to work with little supervision.
• Reports safety hazards when identified.
• Observe safety precautions at all times, uses safety signs.
• Must be able to verbally describe how to accomplish specific tasks when interviewed.

Must be able to operate the following pieces of equipment;

• Low speed Side by Side
• High Speed Burnish
• Carpet Extractor
• Wet /Dry Vacuum
• Drying Fan
• Walk Behind scrubber
• Ride on Scrubber

This job reports to the Project Manager.

Full-Time position 2nd Shift, Sat-Wed 1pm-9:30pm.
