Responsibilities:

• Install, service, troubleshoot, and maintain low voltage systems at commercial job sites
• Diagnose and repair issues involving structured cabling, access control, CCTV, fire alarm, audio visual, and related systems
• Perform service calls, preventative maintenance, and system upgrades
• Troubleshoot connectivity, device, fire alarm, and network communication issues
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and system layouts
• Install and terminate CAT5e/CAT6 cabling as needed
• Work with access control devices including mag locks, strikes, door contacts, and readers
• Support CCTV camera installations, replacements, and troubleshooting
• Assist with fire alarm device installation, troubleshooting, and servicing
• Document service work and communicate updates with project managers and customers
• Work safely on ladders and lifts while following all site safety requirements

• 2+ years of commercial low voltage service or installation experience
• Experience troubleshooting low voltage systems including structured cabling, access control, CCTV, and fire alarm systems preferred
• Strong understanding of telecom and data networks
• Ability to work independently and manage service calls professionally
• Experience reading blueprints and technical drawings
• Manufacturer certifications, BICSI, Lift, OSHA, and fire alarm certifications are a plus
• Must have basic hand tools and standard PPE including hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, and steel-toe boots
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to job sites throughout the San Antonio area as needed
