Park Vista Apartments is currently seeking an Assistant Maintenance Technician to ensure the maintenance and upkeep of the building and grounds through routine procedures and special work orders.
Responsibilities:
* Complete maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner
* Perform apartment make-ready tasks, including repairs and unit preparation
* Diagnose and repair basic HVAC systems, furnaces, and air conditioning units
* Identify and fix plumbing issues such as leaks and minor pipe repairs
* Maintain pool equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards
* Assist with general property upkeep, including preventative maintenance
* Respond to emergency maintenance requests as part of an on-call rotation
* This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, proactive, and capable of handling a variety of maintenance tasks to keep the property running smoothly.
Requirements
* Ability to lift and carry at least 20 lbs. or more
* HVAC (A/C) certification required
* Pool certification preferred
* Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, furnaces, and plumbing
* Experience with apartment maintenance, make-ready processes, and work order systems
* Willingness to work on-call as needed (rotating schedule)
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred
* Indoor and outdoor work in various weather conditions
* Physically active role requiring standing, bending, lifting, and walking
* Full-time with rotating on-call responsibilities
