LPR Construction Company is seeking experienced Structural Ironworkers for projects in San Antonio, Texas. These positions involve working on a variety of high-profile projects, including medical buildings, retail stores, and entertainment studios. Ideal candidates are skilled in steel erection, welding, and rigging, and are committed to safety and quality workmanship.

• Ability to bolt-up structural members following blueprints and supervisor instructions
• Ability to weld 3G and 4G
• Experience rigging structural-steel members to hoist cables
• Ability to hoist and position steel beams, girders, and columns using cranes or signaling equipment
• Experience with detail work such as installing angle and bent plate, welding clips, joists, tube steel, or angle kickers
• Ability to assemble and plumb structural steel, install deck, and weld steel stairs, handrail, and guardrail
• Field fabrication or assembly of metal parts according to blueprints or supervisor instructions
• Ability to insert sealing strips, wiring, insulating material, ladders, flanges, gauges, and valves as needed
• Use of all safety and personal protective equipment, including harness and lanyard for proper tie off
• Ability to operate boom lift and scissor lift
• Physical ability to pull, push, or pry structural-steel members into position
• Ability to walk/stand on girders or other structural-steel members to position them or use rope to guide them into position
