Halo General Contractors is seeking an experienced Metal Framer and Acoustical Ceiling Installer to join our growing field team. We work primarily on federal, military, and institutional projects across the San Antonio area. You'll be working on active military installations — reliability and professionalism are a must.
Responsibilities- Install metal stud framing (interior and exterior) per plans and specifications
- Install suspended acoustical ceiling grid and tile systems (2x2, 2x4, specialty)
- Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Coordinate with superintendent and project manager on daily scope and priorities
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Follow all OSHA and project-specific safety requirements
- Complete daily work logs and report progress to foreman
- Minimum 5 years experience in metal framing and/or acoustical ceiling installation
- Ability to read blueprints and construction documents
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Must be able to pass a background check (required for military base access)
- Must be able to pass a 10‑panel drug screen
- Valid for base access badging
- OSHA 10 preferred (not required)
- $23–$30/hr depending on experience
- Paid weekly
