• Pull, terminate, dress and label fire alarm cable
• Test all installed cable using appropriate testing equipment
• Terminate fire alarm panels and devices
• Read and interpret fire alarm system layouts from blueprints
• Troubleshoot and service existing fire alarm systems
• Work safely on ladders/lifts (comfortable with heights)
• Supportadditionallow voltage systems as needed at commercial and industrial sites (schools, hospitals, offices, warehouses, etc.)

• 3+ yearsdemonstratedwork history/knowledge in Fire Alarm Systems
• Understanding of NEC and NFPA requirements (current codes)
• Experience troubleshooting panels, devices, and programming systems (Edwards, Silent Knight,Fire Lite, etc. a plus)
• BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications a plus
• NICET Certification is a PLUS
• Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)
• Willingness to travel to job sites within Texas as needed
