Residential Handyman

About the role

• The Residential Handyman provides high-quality repair, improvement, installation, and general service work across a variety of trades in residential homes. This role focuses on completing assigned jobs efficiently and professionally, delivering exceptional workmanship and ensuring customer satisfaction.

What you'll do

• Perform a variety of home improvement, repair, and installation services, including:
• • Carpentry (installing doors, trim, cabinetry, shelving, framing repairs)
  • Drywall (patching, installation, texture matching)
  • Painting (interior and exterior touch-ups and full room painting)
  • Basic plumbing (install or replace faucets, garbage disposals, toilets)
  • Basic electrical (replace ceiling fans, light fixtures, outlets, switches)
  • Tile installation or repairs (back splashes, shower surrounds, flooring)
  • Fence, deck, or gate repairs and small builds
  • General home service tasks as assigned (may include routine or preventive work)
• Read and follow job scopes, plans, and material lists provided by management or estimator.
• Provide input on materials or methods when needed.
• Ensure quality of craftsmanship and cleanliness of work area upon job completion.
• Communicate clearly with customers about job progress and address concerns or additional requests.
• Operate company vehicle safely and maintain tools and equipment in good condition.

Qualifications

• Proven experience (3+ years preferred) in handyman services, home remodeling, or skilled trades.
• Strong multi-trade skills — ability to independently complete a wide range of residential projects.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a small project team.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass background check.
