Installation Technician, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic

Oversee installation of fire protection systems for new and existing projects across industrial, commercial, and residential settings. Must understand NFPA codes, design/installation methods, hydraulic calculations, and material lists for fire sprinkler systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Understand design and layout of fire sprinkler systems
- Perform hydraulic calculations
- Conduct field surveys
- Prepare system piping listings for fabrication
- Coordinate installation among trades
- Manage cost and monitor budgets
- NICET certification preferred but not required
- General mechanical knowledge
- Experience in fire protection installation or design
- Demonstrated competency in verbal and written business communication skills
- Valid driver’s license in accordance with company guidelines
- Ability to complete documentation and administrative duties; proficient with personal computers and Microsoft Office
- Oversee installation labor on assigned projects
Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required. Motor vehicle records checks are required for all driving positions.
