Plumbing Helper - Laborer

General Laborer for Plumbing Company

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are growing and need field workers to assist with repairs in a laborer and plumbing helper capacity. Responsibilities include digging holes and trenches, cutting openings, working with pipes, using chipping/jackhammer/concrete saw cutter, mixing concrete and applying patches, repairing rebar, cleaning and maintaining work areas, and working under the direction of the field manager or plumber.

Opportunity to grow within the company by learning leak detection or plumbing skills.

Work Week:
Monday - Friday; 9:00am - 5:00pm, some days 8:00am to 6:00pm depending on jobsite locations. Service areas include San Antonio, Austin, and surrounding areas.

Pay: commensurate with experience, with a pay increase after 90 days of training based on performance.

• Valid Texas Driver’s License with a good driving record.
• Background check and driving record check required.
• Good physical ability to lift, push, pull reasonable weight and dig with manual tools.
• Experience with chipping/jackhammer/concrete saw cutter.
• Concrete patching and deck repair experience.
• No plumbing repair experience required.
• Ability to use field‑related software apps on iPad.
• Good written communication skills preferred.
