Heavy Equipment Shop Service Technician Responsibilities

• Adhere to Terex safety policies and procedures
• Follow and promote The Terex Way Values
• Work on a wide array of equipment including truck-mounted aerial platforms, digger derricks and cranes
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and/or electrical systems
• Convey information to fellow Terex team members as appropriate
• Meet or exceed the training requirements for self-development during the year
• Utilize current technology to support everyday work functions

• High school diploma or GED
• A minimum of 2 years of experience working with heavy machinery and/or utility equipment
• Willingness to submit for pre-employment background check and drug screening
• Basic set of mechanical tools (sockets, wrenches, and battery-operated impact gun)

• 5+ years in a similar field
• Excellent communication skills: both oral and written
• Basic computer skills
• Experience with utility-type equipment, along with Genie & or JLG
• Extensive knowledge of Terex products (e.g., Hi-Ranger, Telelect Fluid Power Society certification)
• Ability to work in a team-based, safety-focused workplace
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to stand on concrete for 8+ hours per shift
• Ability to climb ladders and over and under vehicles
• Tolerable to heights

The compensation range for this position is $25-$33 hourly. Pay is based on several factors including education, work experience, certifications, etc.
