Heavy Equipment Operator

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Heavy Equipment Operator for our 24005 Rayburn location. This role involves operating various types of heavy equipment to support construction and utility projects, ensuring efficient and safe completion of tasks.

• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, trenchers, and other construction machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform daily pre-operation inspections of equipment and report any maintenance issues or defects promptly.
• Load and unload materials, excavate trenches, grade surfaces, and perform other tasks as directed by the supervisor.
• Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and local, state, and federal regulations.
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other personnel on site.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure equipment is properly secured after use.
• Assist with manual labor tasks when not operating equipment, as needed.
• Follow project plans and specifications accurately to ensure quality workmanship.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience operating various types of heavy construction equipment.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL preferred.
• Proven ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently, with a strong understanding of equipment capabilities and limitations.
• Knowledge of construction site safety practices and regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, grade stakes, and other construction documents.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
