We are seeking a seasoned data/structured cabling technician with strong hands‑on experience who is ready to take on advanced commercial projects.

• Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot structured cabling systems including Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6A.
• Perform data cabling installations in commercial, industrial, and enterprise environments.
• Pull, route, dress, and organize cabling using proper installation standards.
• Build out and maintain MDFs, IDFs, telecom rooms, racks, patch panels, and cable management systems.
• Install cable pathways including J‑hooks, ladder racks, cable trays, and conduit.
• Perform cable labeling, documentation, and quality control inspections.
• Test and certify cabling installations using industry‑standard testing equipment.
• Troubleshoot cabling issues and identify solutions efficiently.
• Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and low voltage drawings.
• Work independently while maintaining high‑quality installation standards.
• Communicate professionally with customers, project managers, and team members.
• Travel throughout Southern Texas when applicable.
• Work overnight shifts when required based on project needs.

• 3+ years of commercial structured cabling experience preferred.
• Strong hands‑on installation experience in data/structured cabling.
• Experience installing, terminating, and testing:
  Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A.
• Experience with fiber optic cabling a plus.
• Strong understanding of telecommunications and data infrastructure.
• Experience with MDF/IDF buildouts, racks, patch panels, and cable management.
• Knowledge of cable testing equipment and certification processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot cabling and network infrastructure issues.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have basic hand tools and PPE: hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi‑vis vest, steel‑toe boots.
• Willingness to travel throughout Southern Texas as needed.
• Ability to work overnight shifts when applicable.
• BICSI, OSHA, Lift certifications, and manufacturer certifications are a plus.
