Lighting and Decor Laborer - Seasonal

Position Details

This position is Seasonal, from June 2026 – February 2027.

Works under the general supervision of the crew supervisor and/or Project Manager and performs general installation of seasonal and holiday lights and decorations at various project sites.

• Maintain and report a complete and accurate tool inventory.
• Frequent travel, including extending days/weeks assignments, based on operational needs.
• Assist crew supervisor with daily inspection of vehicle including lights, brakes, tire pressure, wipers, fluid levels, etc. Report critical vehicle issues to supervisor.
• Assist with loading of equipment and décor items on trucks and trailers each day.
• Work with tools and equipment including ladders, backpack blowers, climbing gear and basic tools.
• Organize and prepare stock of holiday décor material.
• Prepare lights and decorations for installation.
• Assist with daily holiday installations, including tasks that require using a ladder.

• High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
• 1+ years of holiday lighting and décor installation or related field preferred.
• Driver’s license and clean driving record preferred.
• Authorization to work in the US (must provide proper documentation).

• Bi‑lingual preferred.
• Ability to travel to different job sites on multi‑day/multi‑week assignments.
• Good communication skills.
• Must follow directions and adhere to all safety standards at all times.
• Must have a good work ethic.
• Ability to maintain satisfactory working relationships with other employees, customers and the public.
• Ability to follow specific instructions accurately.

• Physical demands:
  Full range of mobility in upper and lower body; overhead reaching; ability to work in various positions, including stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, and squatting for extended periods; lifting up to 50 pounds frequently; pulling and pushing materials and equipment.
• Working conditions:
  
  Works indoors and outdoors in fluctuating weather conditions and climates. May be exposed to dust, odors and fumes on occasion. Noise level is typically moderate.
• Travel to project sites outside of San Antonio Metropolitan area, including other states may be required. Travel and housing expenses are paid by the company.
• Will be required to work nights and/or days depending on specific project.
• Overtime during peak season may be required.
