The Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in San Antonio, TX, supporting the construction, installation, and maintenance of residential swimming pools and spas. Day-to-day responsibilities may include assisting with equipment installation, performing routine inspections, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical pool systems, and carrying out scheduled maintenance and repairs. The Technician will help ensure work areas are safe and organized, follow company standards and local regulations, and document work performed in a clear and accurate manner.
This role works closely with supervisors and crew members, communicates with customers in a professional manner when on-site, and supports high-quality, timely completion of projects. The position may involve working outdoors in varying weather conditions and requires adherence to safety procedures at all times.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, or construction tools and techniques.
- Ability to read and follow work orders, diagrams, or basic technical instructions related to pool equipment and systems.
- Commitment to safety practices, including proper use of personal protective equipment and adherence to company and regulatory guidelines.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills for collaborating with supervisors, crew members, and customers on job sites.
- Physical ability to work outdoors, stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform hands‑on tasks in various weather conditions.
- Attention to detail and reliability in completing tasks, documenting work, and meeting project timelines.
- Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation to job sites in the San Antonio area and nearby communities.
- Previous experience in pool service, construction, landscaping, or related trades is beneficial but not required; willingness to learn and follow training is essential.
