Natural Gas Operator

Job description

Benton-Georgia is seeking to hire an Operator for our San Antonio area. Experience in natural gas construction or underground utility construction is preferred.

The duties will include, but not limited to, operation of all vehicles and equipment in support of utility construction, traffic safety and control and operator preventive maintenance of equipment.

Operator qualifications include, but are not limited to:

• 1+ year experience operating equipment around live utilities
• Utility line locating experience is preferred
• Valid Driver’s License
• Clean MVR record
• General knowledge of construction practices
• Must be competent in the law, regulations, and identification of underground utility locations
• Any necessary OQ's required by Customer
• Pre-employment drug screen is mandatory
• Follow all safety and environmental guidelines

RESPOSIBILITIES

• Operates vehicles and equipment to include but not limited to the following: (mini) excavators, backhoes, front-end loaders.
• Must be able to perform operator maintenance and preventive maintenance on all equipment operated.
