Aircraft Electrician / Avionics Technician (Level II & III)

San Antonio, TX | Onsite

• $30–$40/hour – Level II
• $40–$50/hour – Level III

We are seeking experienced Aircraft Electricians / Avionics Technicians to support a high‑profile aerospace program in San Antonio, TX. This position is ideal for professionals with strong wiring, connector, and troubleshooting experience who are looking to work in a structured, team‑driven hangar environment.

• Install, terminate, and inspect electrical connectors on aircraft systems
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Perform continuity and insulation resistance testing
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and connector‑related issues
• Support aircraft modification and depot maintenance efforts
• Ensure compliance with strict aerospace quality and safety standards
• Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to complete assigned work

Level II:

• Minimum 5 years of avionics or electrical connector experience

Level III:

• Minimum 8 years of avionics or aircraft electrical systems experience

Required for Both Levels:

• Active Secret Clearance
• IPC/WHMA‑A-620 certification (or equivalent)
• Experience with aircraft wiring harnesses and complex electrical systems
• Aviation or avionics soldering experience
• Knowledge and understanding in aircraft maintenance, modification, or avionics environments
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting

• Work performed onsite in a hangar environment
• Schedule:
  
  Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (4x10hrs)
• Voluntary overtime available based on program needs
• Use of hand tools, power tools, and electrical test equipment
• Must follow all safety, security, and quality protocols

This is a Contract position based out of San Antonio, TX.
