Job Summary

Loenbro is hiring an Electrical Foreman to lead the installation, troubleshooting, testing, and repair of electrical systems on commercial and industrial construction projects. This role is responsible for supervising daily field activities, coordinating crews, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards, OSHA regulations, and applicable electrical codes.

The Electrical Foreman works closely with project managers, superintendents, and field personnel to coordinate manpower, manage material needs, and resolve field challenges while maintaining productivity and quality. This position is responsible for directing electricians and apprentices, assisting with construction scheduling, coordinating material orders, documenting testing and troubleshooting results, and ensuring electrical installations are completed according to project specifications and industry standards.

Essential Job Responsibilities

Test electrical systems using tools to determine where issues may be occurring, the safety of the system and to ensure compatibility

Document actions, testing results, observations, final diagnosis of the situation and steps taken to resolve issues for each job or situation

Determine the steps necessary to assess an electrical situation and troubleshoot using testing devices, blueprints and maps

Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements and also through reporting violations of policies, procedures and guidelines to supervisor

Required

High school diploma or GED required.

Current Texas State electrical journeyman license

Minimum 4 years documented field work or completion of 4-year electrical apprentice program

Excellent understanding of the electrical industry

Previous foreman, leadman, or supervisory experience preferred.

Outdoor construction setting with exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, extreme weather, uneven terrain, and other environmental factors.

Frequent visits to outdoor construction sites with exposure to weather extremes.

If driving is required, valid driver license and proof of insurability is required. All drivers are subject to a DMV background records search.
