Diesel Mechanic​/Technician C

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and maintain all equipment used to transport and handle freight, including single and tandem axle diesel over-the-road and city tractors, diesel city straight trucks, and propane and diesel-powered industrial forklifts.
• Track completed and uncompleted work to maintain production and meet service schedule and customer commitments.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or other breakdowns and perform failure analysis on component parts and systems of trucks, tractors, converter gear, and forklifts.
• Perform routine maintenance such as lubrication, cooling system tests, brake adjustments, and tire inflation.
• Repair or rebuild all or part of a system of assigned equipment as needed.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver's License.
• At least 6 months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to pass background check and alcohol and drug test.
• Preferred experience:
  
  Diesel Engine Repair, Automotive Diagnostics, Automotive Service, ASE Certification, Diesel Engine Certification.

Pay: $33.00-$40.45 per hour. Job Type: Full-Time.

Work Shift:

Third Shift.
