Installation Technician
The field installation technician provides water tests, repairs, upgrades, maintenance, and installations for Culligan equipment and products. The technician will recommend and price additional Culligan products or services when appropriate. The technician's goal is to provide the maximum amount of service to clients to exceed their expectations.

Duties and responsibilities include advising customers of needed repairs or upgrades, completing paperwork related to tasks in an accurate and timely manner, assisting others with delivery and installation of products/equipment, providing excellent maintenance of personal or company vehicle, company tools, and company equipment, communicating in a positive manner with customers and staff, following all rules and regulations pertaining to safety and Culligan policies, installation of water conditioning/water filtration equipment in residential or commercial venues, driving a company truck to deliver products to residential and commercial customers according to daily route schedule, managing daily routes independently to ensure proper and timely delivery of product, offering new products and services at the time of established product delivery, accurately completing all required paperwork daily, installing, diagnosing, repairing and completing preventative maintenance on water treatment equipment, maintaining consistent, friendly conversation with customers to communicate the status of equipment and to provide the best solution to their water needs, being familiar with company software, identifying additional services that may be required and presenting all options to the customers, following established safety procedures and following all written and verbal procedures and policies to ensure the safest and highest quality work, being able to dig using tools and power tools and understanding how to apply basic plumbing knowledge by following technical procedures, and performing other related duties as assigned by management.
Supervisory responsibilities include this job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience, certificates, licenses and registrations required: valid drivers license, other skills required: basic plumbing experience, mechanically inclined, skilled in use of power tools and hand tools, good communication of both verbal and written skills, and able to work full time schedule.

Physical demands and work environment include continually required to stand, walk, sit, utilize hand and finger dexterity, climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl, talk or hear, occasionally required to taste or smell, occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions (non-weather), occasionally work near moving mechanical parts, occasionally work in high, precarious places, occasionally exposure to outside weather conditions, occasionally exposure to extreme heat or cold (non-weather), while performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet-moderate, the employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds / frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds / continually lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision;
distance vision; color vision; peripheral vision; depth perception and ability to adjust focus, and additional remarks regarding work environment: able to occasionally work in confined spaces, specialized equipment, machines, or vehicles used: power tools and hand tools.
