Equipment Preparation and Installation Technician

Sodexo is seeking an Equipment Preparation and Installation Technician to support Food & Beverage Operations within our Technical & Maintenance team. In this role, you will prepare, install, test, and maintain commercial kitchen and beverage equipment to ensure safe, reliable performance and minimal downtime. You will read schematics, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and document all work in compliance with safety and food-safety standards.

Working closely with on-site culinary and operations teams, you'll help deliver high-quality, efficient service while reflecting Sodexo's culture of safety, diversity, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities

• Install and set up commercial food-service and beverage equipment per manufacturer specifications and Sodexo standards.
• Inspect, test, and calibrate equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and service disruptions.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and basic refrigeration issues and complete timely repairs.
• Document work orders, parts used, and service outcomes in maintenance systems.
• Collaborate with culinary and operations teams to schedule work with minimal impact on service.
• Follow all safety, lockout/tagout, and food safety procedures and maintain clean work areas.
• Support equipment upgrades, relocations, and new openings as needed.
