Job Description & How to Apply Below

Step Into a Day on Our Crew

Sunup starts with a quick huddle: you review layouts, benchmarks, and elevations from the Foreman or Survey team. With the plan in hand, you build the path—setting and aligning wood, steel, and SIM forms for sidewalks, driveways, ADA ramps, curbs, gutters, and the occasional structural pour. Smart levels, string lines, tape measures, and grade pins help you verify slope and elevation so water drains just right.

Rebar and wire mesh get cut, tied, spaced, and overlapped to spec. You place rebar chairs, hardware, wall ties, chamfer strips, and bracing. Detectable warnings go in, ADA-compliant ramp slopes are dialed in, and armored joints and embedded fixtures are positioned precisely.

When the trucks arrive, you coordinate staging, chute placement, and the pour sequence. You screed to elevation, keep the proper fall, and finish with edgers, floats, jointers, brooms, and finishing machines. Walk-behind screeds and vibrators help you achieve a durable, uniform surface. Between tasks, you keep the site clean and safe, manage traffic control/flagging as needed, and follow PPE, fall protection, and confined space procedures.

And when needed, you pitch in on related tasks to get the job done.

What You Bring
  • 3–5 years’ experience in concrete formwork and finishing (or equivalent training)
  • Ability to interpret drawings, layouts, and elevation markings
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and finishing equipment
  • Familiarity with ADA, TxDOT, and standard concrete specifications (preferred)
Working Conditions

This is outdoor work in every season—heat, cold, rain, and harsh weather are all part of the job. You’ll stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods; regularly lift up to 50 lbs., and at times up to 100 lbs. with help. Dust, noise, and vibration are common on site.
