Lead HVAC Technician

This is a permanent, full time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

We are a mid-sized, growing general contractor that self-performs our own mechanical projects. We are seeking a lead hvac technician that is hands-on and knowledgeable in the wet and dry side of hvac projects. Ideally, we are looking for someone that has experience working on projects for the department of defense; which may include the Navy, Air Force and Army among others.

Responsibilities:

• Work on Piping systems, heat pumps, pneumatics, controls, vrf/vrv systems, boilers, among other mechanical/hvac systems.
• Read and interpret the design-intent of blueprint drawings
• Inspect and adjust heating, cooling and piping equipment in mechanical projects after successful installation
• Make sure all projects exceed federal, state and government safety and code requirements
• Work closely with our Mechanical Divisional Manager and ensure our current and upcoming projects are completed on time and under budget
• Lead and assist with new construction, TI and service projects for HVAC wet and dry systems
• Work well with our internal team, as well as our customers and other external sub-contractors

Requirements:

• 3+ years of HVAC Technician experience
• Local to San Antonio
