Technical Support and Field Service Representative

We are seeking a technically skilled and customer-focused Technical Support and Field Service Representative to provide technical assistance, troubleshoot equipment and systems, and deliver on-site support to customers. This role combines technical problem-solving, field service, customer communication, and system maintenance to ensure reliable equipment performance and customer satisfaction.

• Provide technical assistance to customers through phone, email, remote support, and on-site visits.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment, system, and operational issues.
• Guide customers through troubleshooting procedures and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Document technical issues, resolutions, and service activities.

• Travel to customer locations to perform inspections, diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and installations.
• Commission and test equipment and systems to ensure proper operation.
• Identify equipment issues and perform corrective actions efficiently.
• Provide emergency and scheduled service support as required.

• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
• Communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical users.
• Coordinate service activities and follow up to ensure customer concerns are resolved.
• Provide training and guidance on equipment operation and maintenance.

• Maintain accurate service reports, technical documentation, and customer records.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, manufacturing, and other internal teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Provide feedback on recurring equipment issues and opportunities for product or service improvements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field preferred.
• Several years of experience in technical support, field service, equipment maintenance, or industrial systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, schematics, and specifications.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, electronic, or automation knowledge as applicable.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple service requests.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations as required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel for field assignments.

• Field service or industrial maintenance certifications.
• Electrical or mechanical certifications.
• OSHA safety certification.
• Manufacturer-specific equipment or technical certifications.
• Project management or customer service certifications.
