Custodial Worker Supervisor

This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Lodging Facility located on JBSA Lackland. This is a regular part-time category position with guaranteed 20 hours per week, may work up to 40 hrs./week. Employees appointed to a regular category position are eligible for benefits. Must be able to continuously stand, bend, stoop, and reach. Occasionally lifts, moves, and carries items weighing over 50 pounds.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, Ameri Corps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Experience in supervising the work of subordinate employees in accomplishing custodial work. Experience and knowledge must have been gained in a military lodging program or commercial hotel/motel housekeeping.

• 1. Ability to follow simple oral and written instructions and speak English.
• 2. Ability to use hand or lightweight powered cleaning tools or equipment.
