Job Description
The Electrician performs electrical installation and maintenance work for commercial construction projects, supporting building power distribution systems. Reporting to an electrical supervisor, this role travels locally to job sites and offers advancement through journeyman progression and a lead electrician pathway.
Responsibilities
- Install wiring for commercial construction projects.
- Perform electrical repairs and maintenance.
- Test circuits and verify system performance.
- Install and support electrical panels.
- Interpret blueprints and electrical plans.
- Ensure work complies with applicable electrical codes.
- Support building power distribution systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Journeyman electrician license.
- Experience with electrical wiring and circuit testing.
- Knowledge of electrical code compliance and blueprint reading.
- Proficiency with power tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and safety awareness.
- Attention to detail.
