Salary Range:
Up to $27,000/Annualized, commensurate with education, experience, and qualifications.

Job Summary
The Part-Time Program Manager/Housing Coach provides case management and community coordination of services in a rapid-rehousing program for young adults with experiences of foster care, domestic violence and homelessness, in partnership with the Bexar County Fostering Educational Success (BCFES) Housing First Project Associate Director, Program Managers/Housing Coaches, and Grant Principal Investigator.
This is a grant-funded position, which may be extended or shortened based upon availability of funds and/or work.
Core Responsibilities
* Provides case management and direct service engagement related to housing, education, employment, mental health and well-being for young adults with a history of foster care and/or domestic violence, who are experiencing or at-risk for homelessness.
* Conducts intake and needs assessments from a trauma-informed and housing first perspective; refers participants to campus based and/or other community resources as appropriate. Follows up and tracks utilization.
* Develops holistic safety plans in collaboration with youth experiencing domestic violence from a trauma-informed perspective that prioritizes urgent needs and confidentiality.
* Completes data entry into the local Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) for HUD compliance.
* Collaborates effectively with BCFES Partners and Youth Action Council to develop and sustain supportive services for program participants
* Provides task supervision for social work field students and/or peer advocates.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Counseling or related field.
* One (1) year of experience in case management, including intake assessment and service plans.
* This position requires the ability to maintain the security and integrity of UT San Antonio and its infrastructure.
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in social work (MSW) or related graduate coursework in progress.
* Three (3) years of experience in case management, including intake assessment and service plans.
* Experience providing case management to young adults with experiences of foster care and homelessness.
* Experience with funded research projects.
* Professional experience working with survivors of domestic violence.
* Experience with landlord navigation and local Homeless Management Information System (HMIS).
* Experience working in a state child welfare agency
* Knowledge of Federal and State Law and policies related to HUD, child welfare, and education (i.e. CoC Program Interim Rule Section 578.51C, 2 CFR 200; Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act, Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act,)
* Bilingual, Spanish and English
