IOS​/Android Developer

Akkodis is seeking an iOS/Android Developer for a Contract with a client in San Antonio, TX. The ideal candidate must have strong Swift/Kotlin expertise to design intuitive interfaces and develop, test, and optimize mobile features for performance and reliability.

Rate Range: $37/hour to $45/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality native iOS and Android applications using Swift, Swift
  
  UI, Objective‑C, Kotlin, Jetpack, and Java.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers and product teams to build intuitive, user‑friendly mobile interfaces and refine features from concept to release.
• Ensure app performance, security, and responsiveness by performing code reviews, optimizing architecture, and implementing best practices.
• Integrate mobile apps with backend services, APIs, SDKs, and third‑party tools to deliver seamless functionality across platforms.
• Write clean, scalable, well‑documented code including unit tests, and follow CI/CD or version‑control standards for mobile development.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues to maintain app stability and provide timely updates throughout the development lifecycle.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 6–8 years of professional experience in native mobile application development.
• Strong proficiency in Swift, Swift
  
  UI, Objective‑C, Kotlin, Jetpack, and Java, with proven experience developing and maintaining iOS and Android apps end‑to‑end.
• Experience integrating mobile apps with backend services/APIs, writing clean and scalable code with unit tests, and troubleshooting performance, UI, or functional issues.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $45.00 per hour
