Senior Solutions Engineer – San Antonio

Capital Group is looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer to build, maintain, and refine high‑performance, scalable systems that deliver transformative solutions across our development, infrastructure, and product teams.

• Build, maintain, and refine high‑performance, scalable systems by collaborating across development, infrastructure, and product teams from conception to completion.
• Recommend how to imagine, develop, and launch solutions with transformative power across digital, cloud, and emerging technology sectors.
• Evaluate the application portfolio and identify future architecture by rationalizing applications and technologies.
• Actively use AI development environments such as Claude Code, Git Hub Copilot , and similar tools, integrate them into daily workflow, and harden and operationalize them as first‑class engineering capabilities within the team and broader organization.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least seven years of software engineering experience with strong expertise in Java.
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, Type Script, or Vue.js, and proven expertise in building RESTful APIs and working with AWS.
• Thoughtful approach to software engineering practices; enable future‑ready, high‑quality, responsive code base.
• Agile mindset and passion for designing product user experiences that enable rapid business growth.
• Foundation of technical ability, business acumen, leadership skills, and desire to provide knowledge transfer.
• Technology vendor management experience – provided technical direction, guidance, and oversight of vendor solutions and integrations.
• Strong knowledge of modern software delivery practices, including CI/CD, Git Ops, cloud‑native platforms, and automated governance.
• Thought leader in engineering discipline practices.
• Hands‑on solution level expertise with tools such as Harness.io (pipeline orchestration, deployment strategies, governance policies).
• Practitioner of AI‑assisted development using tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Git Hub Copilot  daily.
• Expertise in provisioning and optimizing cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform to ensure automated, secure, and reliable deployments across environments.

• San Antonio base salary range: $131,003–$209,605.
