What You’ll Do- Research, design, develop, test, build, and coordinate the conversion or integration of UX designs into the JavaScript/Java codebase ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX design standards.
- Act as designer‑developer, switching hats in design and development, serving as a Subject Matter Expert assisting with decision making for high visibility on‑going projects.
- Create clean semantic HTML markup that passes WCAG and ADA/508 accessibility standards and compliance.
- Provide development and support to the customer‑facing design system including new components, defects, accessibility, and page templates.
- Collaborate with analysts, developers, and architects for successful implementation and component requirements.
- Remain current on user interface framework trends and programming techniques; suggest or research new tools and methods as needed.
- Design and maintain design files, wireframes, and mock‑ups.
- Design and develop UI and UX interfaces, assist with new user interface testing or participate in usability reviews.
- Hands‑on development on front‑end user frameworks (Angular
JS, React
JS, jQuery, etc.). - Provide responsive website and app development and support to the customer‑facing design system including new components, defects, accessibility, and page templates.
- Develop reusable and responsive, interactive patterns and code libraries that meet the highest W3 standards for HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Collaborate with business analysts, senior developers, and architects for successful implementation and component requirements in an SDLC process.
- Research, design, develop, test, build, and coordinate the conversion or integration of frontend designs into the JS/Java codebase.
- Participate in conceptualizing, prioritizing, and creating strategies for product UX.
- Develop well‑structured and maintainable code that follows best practices and industry standards.
- Work with team members to develop UI prototypes as necessary and validate ideas with a data‑driven approach.
- Proficient understanding of cross‑browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
- Remain current on UI trends and programming techniques and suggest new tools and methods as necessary.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 4+ years of experience in front‑end web application development with hands‑on programming.
