- Design, develop, customize, and support Guidewire Policy Center applications for Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance business processes.
- Configure and implement Policy Center functionalities including Product Model, Policy Lifecycle, Underwriting, Rating, Policy Issuance, Renewals, Endorsements, Cancellations, and Reinstatements.
- Develop and customize Guidewire components using Gosu, PCF (Page Configuration Files), Data Model Extensions, Business Rules, Workflows, and Batch Processes
. - Build and maintain integrations between Policy Center and external systems using REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, Messaging, Integration Frameworks, and Guidewire Integration Gateway
. - Customize Policy Center user interfaces, screens, validations, and business workflows based on business requirements.
- Develop and support Guidewire Rating, Product Designer, and underwriting rules for insurance products.
- Work closely with business analysts, product owners, underwriters, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Design and implement Guidewire configuration changes including typelists, entity extensions, validation rules, and security configurations.
- Develop and optimize database queries, data migration scripts, and batch jobs to improve application performance.
- Participate in technical design reviews, code reviews, and architecture discussions to ensure adherence to Guidewire best practices.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, defect resolution, and production support activities.
- Troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions.
- Collaborate with QA teams during SIT, UAT, and production deployment activities.
- Support Guidewire upgrades, cloud migrations, and enhancement projects.
- Develop technical design documents, configuration guides, deployment documents, and support documentation.
- Work within Agile/Scrum environments and participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release activities.
