We’re looking for an Entry‑Level Automation Testing Engineer who is excited to help build high‑quality, reliable digital products through modern test automation practices. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, pays attention to detail, and wants to grow their skills in automation, quality engineering, and agile delivery.
In this role, you will support the design, development, and execution of automated test solutions, with a focus on BDD and Gherkin‑based test scripting
. You’ll work closely with developers, analysts, and product teams to help ensure applications are tested thoroughly and perform as expected.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using BDD frameworks and Gherkin syntax
- Translate business and functional requirements into clear, testable Given / When / Then scenarios
- Support functional, regression, integration, and end‑to‑end testing efforts across applications and platforms
- Partner with developers, analysts, and other team members to identify defects, validate fixes, and improve software quality
- Contribute to test planning, test case development, and test documentation as part of the overall quality assurance process
- Help improve automation coverage, testing efficiency, and repeatability across releases
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, and retrospectives
- Support the software development lifecycle through testing, documentation, defect tracking, and continuous improvement
- Learn and apply best practices in automation engineering, quality assurance, and modern delivery methods
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business IT/MIS, or a related field
- Exposure to or hands‑on experience with test automation
, whether through coursework, internships, projects, or professional work - Familiarity with BDD concepts and Gherkin scripting language
- Understanding of software testing fundamentals, including test cases, defect tracking, regression testing, and validation
- Familiarity with agile development environments and the software development lifecycle
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for building reliable, high‑quality solutions
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
