We are seeking a skilled Service Now Scrum Master to join our team supporting federal government clients. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, a deep understanding of the Service Now platform, and a commitment to delivering high‑impact solutions in a mission‑driven environment. As a Service Now Scrum Master at Bravium, you will guide Agile teams to deliver high‑quality Service Now implementations efficiently and effectively, facilitate Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments, and foster continuous improvement within our Agile framework.
Key Responsibilities:- Facilitate Agile ceremonies: lead daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure teams are aligned and progressing toward their goals.
- Coach and mentor teams on Agile principles and practices, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
- Remove impediments: identify and address blockers or obstacles that may hinder the team’s progress.
- Stakeholder communication: maintain clear and transparent communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project status, risks, and dependencies through data from Service Now.
- Continuous improvement: encourage a culture of continuous improvement by helping teams reflect on processes and implement changes to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Ensure compliance: ensure that the team adheres to Scrum best practices and organizational standards.
- Ensure the team has a clear understanding of Definition of Done and how to meet it.
- Collect and share team metrics, determine when new metrics are needed, and develop improvements in metrics.
- Ad hoc deliverables and action items at the discretion of leadership.
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master, preferably in a Service Now environment.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
- Strong understanding of Service Now platform capabilities and experience implementing Service Now solutions.
- Deep knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences and tailor communication to senior, internal, and client stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
- Team player with the ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and foster a positive team culture.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Active Public Trust clearance or ability to obtain one.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast‑paced, team‑oriented environments with diverse stakeholders.
- Hands‑on experience with Service Now, including familiarity with common modules and functionality.
- Proficiency in developing business process documentation using Microsoft Visio or similar tools.
- Experience translating business needs into detailed technical requirements.
- Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and ITSM best practices.
