Saviynt IGA Engineer

The Saviynt IGA Engineer is responsible for onboarding enterprise applications into the Saviynt Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) platform. This role partners with application owners, infrastructure teams, security teams, and auditors to design, implement, and support identity governance solutions that enable automated provisioning, access certification, segregation of duties (SoD) monitoring, reconciliation, and compliance reporting.

• Lead end-to-end onboarding of applications into Saviynt IGA.
• Conduct application onboarding assessments and gather business, security, and technical requirements.
• Determine onboarding approach (connected vs. disconnected application model).
• Configure and implement Saviynt application objects, endpoints, entitlements, roles, and access request workflows.
• Design and implement integrations using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, JDBC, LDAP, and custom connectors when out-of-the-box connectors are unavailable.
• Configure Application Onboarding and Management (AOM) processes for disconnected applications
• Configure and support Segregation of Duties (SoD) policies and risk analysis.
• Configure Saviynt Security Systems, Endpoints, Import Jobs, Business Rules, and Workflows.
• Develop and maintain custom connectors, REST integrations, and automation scripts.
• Troubleshoot provisioning failures, reconciliation issues, and connector errors.
• Perform testing, validation, and migration activities across development, test, and production environments.
• Serve as technical lead during application onboarding projects.
• Collaborate with application owners to understand access models and entitlement structures.
• Facilitate onboarding workshops and technical design sessions.
• Document onboarding designs, support procedures, and operational runbooks.
• Provide knowledge transfer and operational support to IAM operations teams.
• Reduction in audit and compliance findings.
• Successful completion of access reviews and certification campaigns.
• Improved application onboarding cycle times.
• Increased percentage of applications governed through Saviynt workflows.
