Position: Sr. Workday Integration Developer (Studio, Extend & Adaptive)

Overview

SWBC is seeking a skilled individual to provide strategic and operational integration support across multiple functional areas of Human Resources, and to develop, implement, deploy, and maintain Workday integrations across Core HCM, Studio, BIRT, EIB, and Document Transformations.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in meetings to define and finalize specifications and test plans; work directly with key business stakeholders to define requirements, develop test plans, and conduct unit testing.
  • Serve as the SME for Workday Integrations and Reporting. Build, implement, deploy, and maintain inbound and outbound integrations with Workday and with third-party applications.
  • Perform complex data mapping and transformations, ensuring data is converted and formatted across different applications. Work with internal and external stakeholders to research, troubleshoot, and lead resolution for integration issues in a timely manner.
  • Represent the HRIS Team in regard to integration implementation while managing or participating in internal cross-team initiatives.
  • Demonstrate expertise in all areas of Workday integrations, including but not limited to:
    Account Provisioning, Benefits – Inbound & Outbound, EIB – Inbound & Outbound, Integration Framework & Security, User Interface, Single Sign-On (SSO), Cloud Connect, BIRT, Workday Studio and Web Services.
  • Act as escalation point for analyzing and recommending solutions to complex problems related to the configuration, development, implementation, and administration of the Workday HCM Integrations.
  • Possess advanced knowledge of Workday report writing, including understanding of data sources and primary business objects required to support integrations, including advanced calculated fields.
  • Assist in the design, review, testing, and implementation of Workday system updates and enhancements as they relate to integrations; assess the impact of new enhancements on integrations.
  • Perform regression testing on integrations during Workday enhancements.
  • Support all HCM integrations related to troubleshooting, debugging, monitoring, and scheduled activities.
  • Create and maintain a master library of Workday HCM integrations documentation for business continuity.
  • Provide vendor management support in resolving critical defects.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Human Resources, or related field from an accredited four-year college or university required.
  • Five or more years of Workday experience with deep expertise in building Workday integrations using REST/SOAP and Workday Studio.
  • Workday Studio certification preferred.
  • Proven ability to build complex systems using web services standards (WSDL, SOAP, REST).
  • Strong command of XML standards (XML Schema, XSLT, DOM, SAX, etc.).
  • Experience working closely with non-technical business owners on technical solutions.
  • Strong Web Services development experience (SOAP and REST) with expertise in XSLT, XPath, and XML.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to sit for long periods and occasional local travel.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. of files or related items.
  • Sound judgment, ability to meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to handle complex tasks, deliver results, and communicate effectively with employees and management.
  • Demonstrated accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Experience with Prism/Extend is a plus.
