Mid-Level Java Software Engineer + Security Clearance

Position: Mid-Level Java Software Engineer [$224k/yr+] with Security Clearance
Must obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, but not required on day one; U.S. Citizenship required. Active Secret or Top Secret clearances are a strong plus.

Summary:

• Design, develop, and test Java-based applications, RESTful web services, and microservices in an Agile Linux environment.
• Integrate agentic AI workflows and coding agents for automated test generation and multi-file code refactoring.
• Utilize modern Spring frameworks, AWS/Azure cloud technologies, and No

SQL databases like MongoDB and Elasticsearch. Qualifications & Compensation:
• 5 years experience in Software Engineering, Modern Java Frameworks and Libraries (e.g. Spring, Guava) Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
• Total Compensation: $224k+ yearly

Job Description:

• Design, develop, and implement complex Java-based software capabilities, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
• Integrate advanced AI coding agents into daily workflows for autonomous feature delivery, code refactoring, and test automation.
• Perform troubleshooting, testing, and lifecycle maintenance of computer-based software systems.
• Utilize configuration management tools including Git, Maven, and Nexus in Linux environments.
• Collaborate within an Agile team setting utilizing modern collaboration tools like JIRA and Confluence. Telework:
