Flex Truck Driver - Class A Hazmat - Penske Logistics

- Average $110,000 annually
- Includes $55 per diem when laying over
- Travel Required, up to 100%
- Full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers
- Hazmat endorsement required
- This position requires the driver to travel to work at various locations as needed
- Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to retail stores
- Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
- Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered
- Dispatch times will vary depending on work assignment
- Drivers can expect to be away from home 1-3 weeks per assignment
- Drivers will travel to assigned location, and work from there for duration of work assignment
- Late model, Penske maintained trucks

Qualifications- Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non‑exempt interstate DOT medical card required
- 1 year of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- English language proficiency required in compliance with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2))
- Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening
- This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company; the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.

- The associate must be able to see and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and may occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs (45 kg).
- The associate must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area.
