Job Description

CDL-A drivers based in the San Antonio area can expect practical regional freight, dependable dispatch planning, and guaranteed weekend home time with Rouse Trucking.

Pay: $1,350 to $1,450 weekly | Monday-Friday schedule with 48-hour weekend reset

Freight: 100% no-touch freight | ~50% drop & hook

Equipment: Assigned  Freightliner Cascadia with double bunk, SiriusXM, 24‑inch HD TV, refrigerator, battery‑powered APU, and 1,500‑watt inverter. No slip seating and well‑maintained equipment designed for driver comfort on regional routes.

Fleet Details:

• Assigned Freightliner Cascadia - no slip seating
• Rider and pet program available
• Home every weekend with 48‑hour reset
• Regional Northeast and Midwest lanes

Compensation: $1,350 to $1,450 weekly with detention, layover, breakdown, and transition pay available. Drivers are paid weekly by direct deposit with consistent freight available throughout the year. Freight volumes remain steady throughout the year.

Running Area: Drivers operate throughout Northeast and Midwest regional lanes with runs averaging approximately 250 miles. Approximately half the freight is drop and hook, reducing delays and helping drivers stay productive throughout the week. All freight is 100% no‑touch dry van freight with consistent dispatch planning.

Home Time: Monday-Friday schedule with weekends off and a dependable 48‑hour reset every week, giving drivers predictable time at home and a schedule that stays consistent week to week.

Family Friendly: Rider program for passengers 13 and older | Pet policy allows dogs of any breed or size at no charge.

Orientation: Two‑and‑a‑half‑day orientation in Pennsylvania with hotel, meals, and travel provided, plus a $250 completion payment.

Requirements: Valid CDL‑A license and minimum one year of over‑the‑road experience required.
