CDL-A Independent Contractor Truck Driver

Trans Am Trucking, a leading refrigerated carrier, offers independent contractor opportunities for CDL‑A truck drivers. As an independent contractor you’ll be your own boss and enjoy competitive compensation and top‑tier support.

• 70% of line haul revenue
• 2,000 sign‑on bonus – four installments of $500 after 30, 60, 90, and 120 days of contract
• SAP friendly
• Average gross revenue per week: $4,000 – $6,000
• Fuel surcharges paid – receive 100% of any fuel surcharges paid to Trans Am for shipments hauled
• Fuel discounts – optional savings at the pump through our fuel network
• No forced dispatch – you decide what to haul
• Paid base plates & permits – we cover essential costs to reduce overhead
• Flexible equipment solutions – bring your own qualified equipment; if you need a truck, partner with ONE Leasing for options such as a new 3‑month lease
• Optional benefits – independent contractors may access optional benefit offerings via a third‑party partner; participation is optional and not provided by Trans Am

• Valid CDL‑A for drivers operating your equipment
• At least 3 months of verified tractor‑trailer driving experience
• Minimum age 21 years
• Own or lease one or more trucks (equipment leasing options available through ONE Leasing or other leasing company of your choice)
• Contractors receive 70% of line haul revenue, less authorized deductions and pass‑through charges from the carrier’s broker

All amounts stated herein represent gross compensation and may be subject to authorized deductions. Nothing contained herein guarantees a particular earning or mileage.

ONE Leasing is a separate and distinct company from Trans Am Trucking. Leasing equipment through ONE Leasing is optional for independent contractors.
