Shuttle Driver

Position Overview

Primary function of this position is to drive tractor trailers containing various products (meats, produce, frozen foods, dry goods, etc.) to and from remote dispatch sites.

Compensation: $26.75 per hour.

Schedule:

Sunday – Friday, 5 – 8 PM shift, 5‑day work week.

• Safely drive trucks to and from remote dispatch sites
• May be called upon to perform duties of Backhaul or Delivery Driver
• Perform all pre‑trip and post‑trip equipment inspections

• Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions required

• Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with the necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
• Six months of commercial driving experience required
• Doubles endorsement required; six months of driving with a doubles endorsement preferred
• Must be comfortable working overnight
• Ability to operate a manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations
• Must be able to read and communicate in English (hold a conversation, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and enter information on reports and records)
