As a Fleet Maintenance Fueler Washer at Penske, you will ensure vehicles are fueled, cleaned, and safe before they hit the road again. You will be the face of Penske—the person greeting customers when they arrive and the one sending them off with a smile.
Main Responsibilities- Greeting customers and ensuring a great experience while fueling and washing vehicles.
- Performing vehicle readiness inspections to verify tires, fluids, and other basic maintenance items are complete.
- Maintaining a clean, safe facility environment for customers and associates.
- Building skills through training and hands‑on coaching to perform minor repairs such as installing mounted tires, replacing or rotating tires, and performing preventive maintenance repairs.
- Completing other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.

- High school diploma, equivalent, or prior work experience preferred.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Willingness to work outside.
- Basic mechanical ability and tool usage preferred.
- Basic computer skills.
- Understanding and compliance with Penske management instructions, guidelines, rules, and regulations.
- Adhering to DOT, OSHA, and Penske safety and maintenance policies, including proper use of tools, PPE, machine guarding, and best safety practices.
- Regular, predictable, full attendance.
- Current driver qualification file maintained in accordance with DOT requirements, including annual MVR check, DOT Physical, Safety Performance History, and drug screening for CDL holders.
- Willingness to work the required schedule, location, complete background screening, drug screen, physical, and potential travel within a near geography for training.
- Move frequently, stand, walk, climb, bend, and sit for extended periods.
- Use hands daily to grasp, reach, touch, handle, or otherwise operate required tools or controls.
- Work safely at heights using ladders and elevated platforms.
- Work safely in all weather conditions.
- Navigate the work environment safely, maintaining hearing and vision.
- Regularly lift or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and occasionally up to 100 lbs (45 kg); push/pull truck tires that exceed 100 lbs.
