Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Commercial driver's license (CDL) may be required depending on the position.

Experience Requirements:

• Safe driving history with a strong commitment to defensive driving practices.
• Ability to inspect vehicles, identify safety concerns, and complete required documentation.
• Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and proper cargo securement when applicable.
• Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to meet delivery schedules.
• Professional communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.

Physical Capabilities:

• Ability to sit for extended periods while safely operating a vehicle.
• Ability to enter and exit vehicles frequently throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift, move, or secure freight and materials when required by the assignment.
• Ability to perform vehicle inspections and work safely in varying weather and road conditions.

Driving Requirements:

• Valid CDL-A license
• DOT Medical Card
• FMCSA Clearinghouse registered and clear
• MVR 1 year CDL experience (within the past 3 years)
• No more than 3 moving violations/at-fault accidents (within the past 3 years)
• No DUI, reckless driving, or serious violations (within the past 5 years)

You will perform vehicle inspections, maintain required documentation, communicate with dispatch or customers as needed, and help ensure deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on time while maintaining a professional appearance and commitment to customer service. A Class A Driver combines safe vehicle operation with dependable customer service to support the movement of goods between businesses, distribution centers, and customers.
