Overview

About the Role:

Johnson Brothers is seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse Lead to support our warehouse operations. In this hands-on leadership role, you will help train new team members, support daily workflow, and ensure accuracy, safety, and productivity across the shift.

What You'll Do
  • Assist the Warehouse Manager in directing daily warehouse activities including loading, unloading, order selection, and replenishment.
  • Train and onboard new hires; reinforce SOPs, work rules, and safety guidelines.
  • Certify employees on pallet jack, reach trucks, forklift, stock pickers and other warehouse equipment
  • Support and motivate team members to meet productivity and accuracy goals.
  • Use warehouse management systems to locate product and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Review orders for completeness and accuracy before shipment.
  • Safely operate manual and powered equipment; perform equipment inspections.
  • Process orders
  • Inspect inbound deliveries and verify accuracy against purchase orders and invoices.
  • Assist with claims, returns, and coordination with Purchasing, AP, and carriers.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment.
What We're Looking For
  • 1-2 years of warehouse experience; prior lead or trainer experience a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to lead through teamwork and influence.
  • Ability to safely lift 40-60 lbs repeatedly and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to operate scanning devices and warehouse equipment.
