Material Handler - San Antonio

As a Material Handler, you are the backbone of our warehouse operations. You will play a vital role in ensuring that freight moves efficiently, accurately, and safely from our trailers to the staging area. This is an active, fast-paced role perfect for someone who takes pride in physical work and enjoys being part of a team that keeps the supply chain moving.

In this role, your daily focus is on the movement of freight. You will work on a conveyor line or directly inside trailers to ensure goods are sorted and staged correctly.

Lift, carry, sort, and stack boxes weighing between 50 and 75 pounds on a repetitive basis.

Unload and load shipments efficiently while following standard operating procedures.

Read and interpret numbers, letters, and symbols to ensure packages are sorted to the correct staging area.

Communicate clearly with your teammates to maintain a safe and productive environment.

Follow all safety protocols to keep yourself and your coworkers protected in a fast-paced setting.

Success in this position is measured by your consistency and your commitment to safety. In your first few weeks, you will focus on learning our sorting processes and meeting our standard pace for handling packages. Over time, you will become an expert in our workflow, identifying ways to maintain efficiency and reliability while supporting your team to meet daily throughput goals.

Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 75 pounds throughout your shift.

Ability to stand and remain active for the full duration of your assigned shift.

Capability to read and understand basic alphanumeric codes for sorting.

Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety.

Successful completion of a background check and drug test.

Pay rate: $15.00 per hour.

We are currently hiring for the following shifts, running Sunday through Thursday:

1st Shift: 4:00am – 2:00pm

Note:

These roles may include scheduled overtime on Fridays to meet business demands.
