Shipping and Receiving Clerk Classification

Job SummaryThe Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse.
Essential Functions- Responsible for all shipping & receiving duties including but not limited to, physical receiving, examining, inventory, shipping, logistics, packaging, crating, assembly, disassembly, communication with vendors and customers, etc.
- Utilize company system and freight carrier sites for scheduling and creating shipments.
- Assist with assembly/disassembly of pumps and/or other equipment
- Simple quality control of equipment received and shipped
- Shop cleanliness and organization
- High School Diploma or equivalency
- Previous experience is preferred
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Detail oriented and self‑motivated
- Team oriented
Physical Demands consist of sitting, stooping, kneeling, reaching, lifting, standing, walking, typing, talking, hearing, and driving equipment.
